I came through the Lovelady program multiple times and have graduated three different times. Looking back, I can see that every time God was pursuing me, even when I wasn't ready to fully surrender. It was during my last relapse that everything changed. God showed me very clearly that if I didn't make a real change, I was going to die.
That realization became the turning point in my life. Today, by the grace of God, I have been clean for four years. I have also had the privilege of serving as a staff member for the past four years and as a supervisor for the last three. What once seemed impossible has become my reality.
Every single day, God continues to bless my life in ways I never imagined. He restored my hope, gave me purpose, and allowed me to help other women who are walking the same road I once traveled. I am no longer just surviving—I am living out the purpose God created me for, and I am so grateful for the second chance He gave me.
