Our Programs

Transitional

This program was created to help women in transition and everyone in the program is, at minimum, here for transition. Women who have recently been released on parole, reached their end of sentences, or find themselves needing help to become independent women of God can benefit greatly from this program.

Alternative Sentence

Some women are sentenced to our program by Judges and probation/Parole officers. These clients are required to complete the program or reside here for a certain length of time. We respect and honor all orders we receive.

SRP

Some of the women participating in the transitional program are here on the Alabama Department of Corrections’ Supervised Reentry Program or SRP. The duration of an SRP client’s stay is based on when she will end her sentence or make parole, although we strongly recommend the SRP client complete the full Lovelady program.

Others

We have many clients who are here on self determination, meaning they simply recognize their need for help, and/or are trying to prevent being court-ordered. Others may have been recommended to Lovelady by DHR to gain additional life skills.
