In early 2010 we opened our first Lovelady Thrift Store in Irondale. Just six years later we were able to open a second location in Clay. These stores provide not only a needed service to the greater Birmingham area, but also support the work of The Center by generating over 50% of our operating budget. This means that every dollar donated to Lovelady goes straight to programming. Furthermore, our clients receive training by working in the stores through our job readiness program.
